Frequently asked questions

The questionswe always get

How do I get into the apartment?

Someone is always there to welcome you: we carry out the identity check Italian law requires and give you the door code, valid for your whole stay from 3pm onwards. After that you come and go as you please, with no keys to carry around.

Can the identity check be done by video call?

Yes, if you prefer it or if you are arriving at an awkward hour: write to us in advance and we will arrange it. Normally, though, someone will be there to welcome you in person. In Italy the host is required to identify guests «de visu», meaning a real-time visual check, and a video call meets the same requirement.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 10am. Because entry is by code, there is no cut-off time for late arrivals.

Where can I park?

At Garage San Pio, via Calefati 304, 280 metres away: open 24 hours, 25 euros per day. Via Calefati is in the city centre, so street parking is paid and hard to find.

How many people can stay?

Up to four: a double bed and a double sofa bed in the same open-plan sleeping area. For two people there is plenty of room to spare.

Are pets allowed?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed.

What is the minimum stay?

Two nights.

Can I cook?

Yes. The kitchen has a hob, a microwave, a sink and a full set of crockery, plates and glassware. For breakfast there is a coffee machine, a kettle and a milk frother.

Is there a washing machine?

Yes, the utility vestibule has a washer-dryer with detergent provided. Handy if you are staying several days.

Are linen and towels included?

Yes, along with a toiletry set in the bathroom. Beach towels are available on request as an extra service.

Do we have the whole apartment to ourselves?

Yes. There is no reception and no shared spaces with other guests: from arrival to departure the apartment is yours.
