You step straight into the living and sleeping area, a single generous room with a tall window and a blackout curtain. The double bed and the sofa bed sit together without stealing space from one another, and the smart TV is comfortable to watch from either.

The sitting area holds the kitchen corner — not a token pair of rings but a proper hob, a microwave, a sink and a full set of crockery. If you want to eat in, you genuinely can, and in the morning there is a coffee machine, a kettle and a milk frother.

The bathroom is split in two: an outer room with a basin and a built-in washer-dryer, and the bathroom proper with a window and a generous shower. Having a washing machine changes how you pack, especially for a stay of several nights.

The utility vestibule has a basin, a hairdryer and a washer-dryer with detergent provided. The bathroom has a window for ventilation and a large shower with a chromotherapy light, plus a premium toiletry set.

How it works

Few rules, all of them stated before you book rather than discovered on arrival.

Minimum stay
Two nights. For shorter stays write to us: it depends on the season.
Arrival
From 15:00. Someone will always be there to welcome you and check your documents, as the law requires. If your flight lands awkwardly, tell us and we will work around it.
Departure
By 10:00. Luggage can stay in the apartment until midday if you need, by prior arrangement.
Documents
We need them for every guest, adults and children alike. They must be shown in person: remote verification is no longer permitted, and the details must be reported to the State Police within 24 hours.
Pets
Sadly we are not able to accommodate them.

Where it is

Via Calefati is in the Murat district, the nineteenth-century part of the centre laid out on a regular grid. The old town begins three blocks up, the seafront is twelve minutes on foot and the central station sits on the far side of the quarter. Almost everything you need is walkable.

If you come by car

Central Bari is a restricted traffic zone and on-street spaces are scarce. The nearest partner garage is Garage San Pio, via Calefati 304, 280 metres away: open 24 hours, €25 a day.
